"The staff at the hotel made me feel special. The property is beautiful with plenty of common areas to meet people and / or relax. There was hot coffee, hot water for tea and drinking water available 24 hours a day. In the morning they offer you toast and fruit. There are a few rooms with a/c, some with fans only, even budget rooms with shared bath. I stayed two weeks. An international group of people passed through. We were always meeting interesting people. The security is excellent. Highly recommend the hotel. The patio on the roof with the cool jacuzzi is a great spot to enjoy the afternoons or early evenings."

"Me and my friend wanted to stay just for 2 nights in Merida because we made a trip with many stations. But there were too many reasons forcing us to stay longer (4 days) in Merida because of the great hotel Trinidad. Fact is that you just get so much for very very few money. For example you can watch TV on a really big screen in an air-aconditioned room. There is also a beautiful terrace on the top of the hotel where a nice jacuzzi and other amenities are located. Concerning location I have to tell you that the hotel is very close to the zocalo (just 3 minutes to walk). Another point is that I never had such a high and big room at any hotel before. The rooms are really nice and you have more than enough space. What makes the hotel to be the best above all is the great atmosphere because the staff is helpful and very nice and the owner is a very cool guy. You'll love'em and have a lot of fun with him."

The staff were really helpfull and friendly. Although we didn't sleep there our first night in Merida they offered us breakfast when we checked in mid-day. It seems like all people staying at Trinidad are as friendly as the staff. The owner, I can't remember his name, is from England and he really wants you to have a great stay.
